Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the colour printing of paediatric standardized clinical records for the Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital. Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of colour printing services for paediatric standardized clinical records, including various types of charts and documentation such as nebulisation charts, observation charts, and other related clinical records.
• Printing on specified paper quality (80gsm bond, 235gsm kraft backing board) with double-sided full colour printing.
• Production of 100 leaves per chart, with specific requirements for padding, punching holes, and packaging.
• Delivery of printed records to Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital, with adherence to specified delivery timelines and conditions.
• Compliance with technical and quality standards, including SABS or SANS approval where applicable.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Full colour printing on both sides of A4 bond paper (80gsm) with kraft backing.
• Padding at the head of the leaves with 235gsm kraft backing board.
• Two-hole punching for binding.
• Printing of specific clinical charts such as nebulisation charts, paediatric observation charts (1-5 and 5-15), with detailed specifications provided.
• Use of approved and compliant printing materials (SABS or SANS approved).
• Accurate and durable binding and packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Provision of samples if requested, and adherence to the specifications provided in the tender documents.
