Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure training services for scaffolding inspectors and erectors. The training aims to enhance the skills and competencies of personnel involved in scaffolding inspection and erection, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of training courses on scaffolding inspection and erection.
• Training to cover NQF levels 3 and 4, including practical and theoretical components.
• Issuance of laminated certificates of competence and operator cards upon successful completion.
• Provision of relevant training materials, certificates, and proof of accreditation.
• Experience of the service provider in delivering similar interventions, with references required.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the training include:

• Training content aligned with NQF standards and accredited by SAQA (SAQA IDs: 263205 and 263245).
• Proof of accreditation for each training programme.
• Service provider must have facilitated similar training at least three times, with references and CV proof.
• Pricing must be per person, inclusive of VAT, and valid until 30 June 2027.
• Training must include practical exercises with safety protocols during execution.
• Certificates of competence must be laminated and provided after training completion.
• Operator cards must be supplied.

Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Accreditation status and experience in delivering scaffolding training.
• Ability to provide qualified facilitators with relevant previous experience (minimum three instances of facilitation, with CV proof).
• Capability to develop and deliver training content at specified NQF levels.
• Provision of references from previous clients for similar training interventions.
• Compliance with safety protocols during practical training sessions.
