Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider for the supply, delivery, and installation of security cameras at the Supply Chain Management stores of Metsimaholo Municipality. The aim is to enhance security surveillance capabilities at the specified business site with a project value exceeding R100,000.00.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of security surveillance cameras, including various models such as fixed dome, bullet, and PTZ cameras.
• Supply of related accessories such as network switches, connectors, cabling, and mounting equipment.
• Delivery and professional installation of the equipment at the designated municipal stores.
• Configuration and testing of the installed security system to ensure operational effectiveness.

The technical specifications for the equipment include:

Surveillance Cameras

• Model DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/S: Network video recorder with 32 channels, 32x2MP decoding, 4 SATA interfaces, 2 HDMI outputs, 16 PoE network interfaces, alarm I/O, 10TB HDD, 1.5U case.
• Model DS-2CD2T47G3-LIY(4mm): Fixed bullet camera with 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, IR capability up to 30m, IP67 rated, H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264/MJPEG compression, WDR 120DB, built-in microSD slot supporting up to 256GB.
• Model DS-2SE4C425MWG: PTZ camera with 1/3" CMOS sensor, 4mm lens, 25x optical zoom, IR up to 30m, IP67 rated, deep learning algorithms for human and vehicle classification, supports H.265+/H.265 compression.
• Model DS-3E0526P-E: Unmanaged PoE switch with 24 Gigabit ports, uplink ports, PoE power budget of 370W.
• Additional cameras include 4MP AcuSense dome cameras with features like 3D DNR, BLC, ICR, and built-in microphone and speaker.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in supplying and installing security surveillance systems, particularly IP-based cameras and network equipment.
• Technical expertise in configuring network video recorders, IP cameras, and PoE switches.
• Ability to carry out professional installation, including cabling, mounting, and system configuration.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements relevant to municipal security systems.
• Capacity to provide after-sales support and maintenance services.
