Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the municipality’s public safety traffic services. The assessment aims to evaluate current traffic management, law enforcement, and related safety measures to enhance overall public safety within the municipality.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Preparation of a detailed summary report on the current traffic safety and management systems.
• Assessment of existing traffic management and law enforcement strategies.
• Evaluation of previous projects related to traffic management, including assessments, enhancements, or strategic planning.
• Provision of recommendations for improvements based on the assessment findings.

The service provider must demonstrate relevant experience and provide supporting documentation for previous work conducted on similar projects.

Technical Requirements

• The bidder must submit a detailed quotation on their company letterhead, aligned with the scope of work.
• The quotation must be valid for 60 days.
• Relevant documentation must include:
• Summary report of the assessment.
• Proof of previous work on traffic assessment, enhancement, or strategic planning, preferably on client’s letterhead.
• Qualifications in Traffic Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or Finance-related studies.
• Financial and legal documentation such as:
• Municipal account not older than 90 days, or
• Lease agreement if applicable, or
• SARS tax pin document, or
• Company bank confirmation letter with matching address, accompanied by a recent bank statement.
• All submissions must comply with the General Conditions of Contract available on the municipal website.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in traffic management, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Proven track record of conducting assessments, strategic planning, or project enhancement in traffic safety.
• Qualifications in Traffic Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Ability to produce comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
