Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a supplier for the supply and delivery of clamps on an as-and-when basis to Metsimaholo Local Municipality. The aim is to ensure the municipality receives high-quality, durable clamps that meet specified standards for various applications within their operations.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the provision of a range of clamps as specified in the detailed specifications. These include:

• Cascade Clamps (various sizes and types)
• VJ Clamps (sizes: 75mm, 90mm, 110mm, 200mm)
• Galvanized Pipe Repair Clamps (sizes: 20mm, 25mm, 40mm, 50mm)
• Johnson Clamps (sizes: 20mm, 25mm, 40mm, 50mm)

The delivery will be on an as-and-when basis, depending on the municipality's requirements.

Technical Requirements

The items supplied must adhere to the following technical standards:

• Items must be of high quality, durable, and suitable for long-term use.
• All clamps must meet the specifications detailed in the tender document, including sizes and types listed.
• Any items not meeting the specified quality standards or specifications will be rejected and returned at the supplier’s cost.
• Suppliers must provide returnable forms, MBD, and General Conditions of Contract (GCC).

Additionally, suppliers are required to submit proof of compliance such as a municipal account, lease agreement, SARS tax pin, or bank confirmation letter with the company’s address.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Suppliers must purchase the bid document from the municipality to be eligible for evaluation.
• Bid submissions must be on the company's official letterhead and include all required documentation.
• The bidder must demonstrate the ability to supply items that meet quality and durability standards.
• Participants should have the capacity to provide the necessary documentation such as municipal accounts, lease agreements, tax PIN, or bank confirmation letters.
• All submissions must be valid for 60 days from the closing date.
