  • Material: 65% cotton, 35% polyester.
  • Colors: Navy, Dark Green, Dark Grey, Dark Brown, Black.
• Gowns:
  • Short belt stitched onto the gown, no buttons, no strings.
  • Material: Fleece.
  • Colors: Navy, Dark Brown, Black.
• Tracksuits:
  • Top with zip closure, bottom with elastic waist and no strings.
  • Material: Windbreaker with lining inside.
  • Colors: Navy, Black.

Skills and Compliance Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying and delivering similar garments within South Africa, supported by client reference letters indicating contract duration, value (R500,000+), and performance.
• Availability of delivery vehicles within the Eastern Cape Province for timely distribution.
• Compliance with local economic development goals, such as local procurement and employment, supported by municipal or lease documentation.
• Tax compliance, including submission of SARS PIN or CSD registration, and adherence to tax obligations.
• Provision of samples for approval prior to contract award.
• Delivery within 2-4 weeks of receipt of order.
