Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to deliver Microsoft Advanced Excel training to officials at the Port Elizabeth Pharmaceutical Depot. The training aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of depot officials in advanced Excel functionalities, ensuring they are proficient in data management, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft Excel.

Scope

The scope of the project includes:

• Provision of Microsoft Advanced Excel training to 15 participants, divided into three groups of five.
• Training to cover modules such as data filling, formula referencing, creating named ranges, logical functions, conditional formatting, advanced validation, formulas, dynamic tables, sorting, filtering, creating charts, charting techniques, pivot tables, macros, and data security.
• Delivery of the training at the Port Elizabeth Pharmaceutical Depot, with physical attendance only (no online training).
• Provision of certificates of competence upon successful course completion.
• Accreditation by SAQA/SETA and submission of proof of accreditation.
• Training duration of up to 5 days, with internal grouping of attendees.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the training include:

• The training provider must be SAQA/SETA accredited and provide proof of accreditation.
• The provider must have recent (within the last two years) proof of completed advanced computer training.
• Submission of at least two client reference letters confirming previous training engagements.
• The course outline must include specified modules such as data management, formulas, charting, pivot tables, macros, and data security.
• The training must be delivered physically by qualified trainers, with no online options.
• Provision of a certificate of competence after course completion.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Accreditation from recognized training councils such as SAQA/SETA.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering advanced Excel training, supported by recent training certificates and client references.
• Ability to develop and deliver a comprehensive training course outline covering all specified modules.
• Provision of qualified trainers with relevant expertise in advanced Excel functionalities.
• Capability to provide certificates of competence upon successful course completion.
