Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a service provider to carry out a comprehensive service of booster pumps and electrical controls at Osindisweni Hospital. The aim is to ensure that the booster pumps and associated electrical controls are functioning efficiently and reliably, thereby supporting the hospital’s water supply system.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Performing a full service of the cold water booster pumps and electrical controls.
• Inspecting and assessing the condition of pumps, seals, impellers, and electrical controls.
• Replacing defective or leaking components as necessary.
• Checking for leaks along the entire pipeline from tanks to after the pumps and repairing any identified faults.
• Providing a detailed report on defects and recommendations for repairs.
• Ensuring all work is carried out by skilled personnel and in accordance with quality standards.
• Cleaning the work area after completion and leaving the site in a tidy condition.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Full servicing of booster pumps and electrical controls to ensure optimal operation.
• Inspection of pump seals, impellers, and electrical components with replacement of faulty parts.
• Leak detection and repair along pipelines from tanks to after the pumps.
• Provision of a detailed defect report and repair recommendations.
• Compliance with health, safety, and security regulations during execution.
• Guarantee of workmanship for 12 months.
• Use of qualified and skilled personnel for all work activities.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining booster pumps and electrical control systems.
• Skilled technicians with relevant technical qualifications and certifications.
• Ability to conduct detailed inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on water pumping and electrical systems.
