Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure infra-red detection and imaging services at St Chads Community Health Centre (CHC). This involves supplying all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to carry out infra-red imaging, including providing images/pictures and a post-service report. The goal is to enhance detection capabilities, such as identifying hot spots on distribution boards, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply of all materials, equipment, and labor required for infra-red detection and imaging at St Chads CHC.
• Use of imaging devices to perform infra-red inspections.
• Provision of images and a detailed service report post-inspection.
• Compliance with safety standards and production of a safety file prior to contract award.

The work covers the installation, operation, and reporting related to infra-red detection services within the premises of St Chads CHC, including associated infrastructure such as DB boxes, kiosks, and LV rooms as specified.

Technical Requirements

• Use of approved infra-red imaging devices capable of detecting hot spots.
• Provision of clear images/pictures as evidence of inspection.
• Preparation of an after-service report detailing findings.
• Compliance with safety standards, including production of a safety file before commencement.
• Delivery of services within 7 days of order receipt.
• Adherence to specifications for quality and performance standards.
• Provision of proof of previous similar work, CIDB grading of 1EB or above, and relevant safety documentation.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Qualified personnel with expertise in infra-red detection and imaging technology.
• Experience in executing similar infra-red inspection services, evidenced by completion certificates of comparable projects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to produce a safety file.
• Technical competence to operate approved infra-red imaging devices and interpret results accurately.
• Ability to produce detailed reports and images post-inspection.
• CIDB grading of 1EB or higher to undertake the work.
