Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the operation and maintenance of boreholes at Esigodini Clinic, including servicing, inspection, cleaning, and associated tasks to ensure reliable water supply. The aim is to ensure the boreholes are functional, well-maintained, and compliant with safety and quality standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Servicing of boreholes as per the attached checklist.
• Inspection, cleaning, and dislodging of boreholes and elevated water tanks.
• Replacement of filters, check valves, UV lights, and other components.
• Monitoring and recording pump operation hours, flow rates, and electrical parameters.
• Adherence to safety regulations and use of PPE during service execution.

The services are to be performed at Esigodini Clinic, with minimal disruption to clinic operations, and must comply with technical and safety standards specified.

Technical Requirements

• Service as per the provided checklist, including inspection and replacement of specific components (e.g., filters, check valves, UV lights).
• Compliance with CIDB grading ME/EB for borehole maintenance.
• Adherence to safety standards (OHS Act 1993) and use of PPE.
• Proper documentation of service activities, including run hours, flow rates, and system checks.
• Provision of qualified personnel with relevant CIDB grading credentials.
• Use of approved materials and components that meet specified standards.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified borehole maintenance technicians with CIDB ME/EB grading.
• Experience in servicing boreholes, pumps, and water treatment components.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage in operational environments.
• Ability to record and interpret system performance data accurately.
• Competence in replacing and inspecting technical components such as filters, check valves, UV lights, and flow meters.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and documentation.
