Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the operation and maintenance of boreholes at Willowfontein Clinic, including servicing boreholes and cleaning elevated water tanks, to ensure reliable water supply and infrastructure upkeep.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Servicing of boreholes as per attached checklist
• Cleaning, dislodging, and inspection of elevated water tanks
• Compliance with safety and technical standards
• Provision of specialized borehole maintenance services by qualified personnel
• Work to be performed with minimal disruption to clinic operations

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Service as per the attached checklist, including inspection and replacement of components such as check valves, flow meters, filters, activated carbon, resins, UV lights, and O-rings
• Compliance with CIDB ME/EB grading requirements
• Adherence to safety standards in line with OHS Act of 1993
• Provision of detailed reports and records of inspections and maintenance activities
• Use of approved and certified equipment and materials

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Registration with CIDB at ME / EB grading levels
• Qualified personnel with expertise in borehole maintenance, water tank cleaning, and related services
• Experience in servicing water infrastructure in healthcare or similar environments
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with OHS standards
• Capability to work with minimal interruption and adhere to specified timelines (7-14 days for delivery)
• Ability to provide proof of previous similar service delivery and technical competence
