Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure a service provider for the servicing of food service department equipment at Nkonjeni Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal. The aim is to ensure that the food service equipment is maintained and operational, supporting the hospital’s food service operations effectively.

• Servicing of food service department equipment at Clairwood Hospital.
• Participation in a compulsory site visit scheduled for 24 June 2026 at the stores.
• Submission of relevant documentation and compliance with administrative, technical, and specific requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Compliance with attached specifications for the servicing of food service equipment.
• Provision of proof of previous related work, including orders and completion certificates.
• Adherence to safety standards, including having a valid safety file checked by health and safety authorities.
• Possession of relevant CIDB grading (Grade IEP/IEB) and electrical trade test certification.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required include:

• Experience in servicing food service equipment.
• Electrical trade skills, evidenced by a valid trade test in electrical.
• Ability to demonstrate capacity to deliver through prior relevant work and compliance with technical specifications.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and documentation, including safety files and relevant certifications.
