Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a service provider to conduct risk assessment training for the Sol Plaatje Municipality. The training aims to enhance the capacity of participants in understanding and implementing risk assessment procedures within their workplace environments.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of a comprehensive risk assessment training program for 20 learners, covering continuous risk assessment in a workplace setting (aligned with SAQA ID: 251967/229994, NQF Level 3, 4 credits). The training must be delivered over a period of at least one month, with the possibility of extension, and must adhere to specified standards and requirements outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Training must be conducted in accordance with the standards specified, including compliance with HWSETA requirements and proof of accreditation.
• The training provider shall deliver the course to 20 learners, with the course ending at least one month after commencement.
• Pricing must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from the closing date.
• The provider shall include provisions for lunch (platters) during training sessions.
• All prices must include VAT and delivery costs to municipal stores.
• Training must be delivered in line with the specifications and standards detailed in the tender, including the completion of the pricing schedule and submission of relevant documentation such as tax compliance and municipal accounts.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering risk assessment training, preferably with prior clients and relevant accreditation.
• Ability to develop and deliver training content aligned with SAQA standards and the specified NQF level.
• Capacity to provide proof of HWSETA accreditation and compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
• Strong administrative skills to complete and submit all required documentation, including pricing schedules, tax compliance certificates, municipal accounts, and joint venture agreements if applicable.
• Effective communication and facilitation skills to engage learners and ensure understanding of risk assessment concepts.
