Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service for infrared inspection across all clinics and Mal CHC to ensure electrical safety and proper functioning of distribution boards and associated equipment. The service aims to identify faults, prevent electrical failures, and maintain safety standards within the health facilities.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply, delivery, and installation of infrared testing equipment.
• Conducting comprehensive infrared inspections on specified distribution boards and electrical equipment across multiple clinics and facilities.
• Providing detailed reports with thermal images, fault indications, and recommended repairs.
• Testing all identified distribution boards and electrical panels as listed in the Bill of Quantities.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and departmental specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Use of approved infrared thermal cameras capable of capturing thermal images with temperature readings.
• Preparation of detailed reports including thermal images, fault analysis, and repair recommendations.
• Testing of distribution boards in various locations such as main entrance, X-ray, maternity, administration, pharmacy, and other specified units.
• Supply of electronic PDF reports and hard copies for each unit tested.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant safety standards during inspection.
• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the scope of work and departmental standards.

Skills Requirements

The tenderer must possess:

• Qualified electrical or thermal imaging technicians with relevant experience in infrared testing and electrical inspections.
• Certification or proof of competency in using infrared thermal imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, distribution boards, and safety standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical reports with thermal images and fault analysis.
• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and proper safety procedures during testing.
