Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the maintenance and servicing of standby generators at Manguzi Hospital, specifically for 500 KVA and 600 KVA units. The aim is to ensure reliable operation of hospital power supply through qualified servicing of generators, including minor and major services, preventive maintenance, and proof of experience in servicing such equipment.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of servicing and maintenance for standby generators (500 KVA and 600 KVA) at Manguzi Hospital.
• Performing minor and major services, including scheduled checks every 240 hours over a 12-month period.
• Providing proof of experience in servicing generators of similar capacity and specifications.
• Ensuring maintenance of standby generators in accordance with the specifications and standards set by the Department of Health.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Servicing of standby generators (500 KVA and 600 KVA) as per the specifications.
• Completion of minor and major services, including inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Proof of experience in servicing similar generators, including successful completion of relevant orders.
• Compliance with CIDB minimum grade: 1ME / EB.
• Trade test certification in mechanical engineering.
• Provision of detailed service reports and proof of previous experience.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for bidders include:

• Trade test certification in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining standby generators, supported by references or previous contracts.
• Knowledge of generator systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Compliance with CIDB grading requirements (minimum grade 1ME / EB).
• Capacity to provide technical documentation and proof of experience.
