Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure services for the servicing of sliding doors at RK Khan Hospital, including cleaning, lubrication, tightening, replacement of wheels and tracks, straightening tracks, and remounting pellet units. The goal is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of sliding doors in X-ray and operating theatre areas, with a focus on safety, reliability, and compliance with technical standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Servicing of sliding doors in X-ray and operating theatres.
• Cleaning and lubricating all sliding mechanisms.
• Tightening track mounts, removing and reinstalling if necessary.
• Replacing track wheels with specified or equivalent parts.
• Replacing tracks where needed.
• Straightening sliding tracks as required.
• Removing and remounting pellet units.
• Providing detailed service reports upon completion.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Use of wheel hangers for straight top tracks (Hillaldam SKU: 017220-1000KG or equivalent).
• Use of straight top tracks in steel (Hillaldam SKU: 033330-400KG or equivalent).
• Straightening of tracks where necessary.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards, including the use of S.A.B.S. approved materials.
• Provision of a detailed service report after each servicing.

Skills Requirements

The contractor must demonstrate:

• Experience in servicing and maintaining sliding doors, particularly in healthcare or similar environments.
• Qualified tradesmen with expertise in mechanical servicing, track alignment, and component replacement.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to produce detailed reports and documentation.
• Compliance with health and safety protocols as per the OHS Act.
• Registration on the CIDB at least level 1 GB or higher.
