Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Skin Closure Strips that meet the specified standards and specifications for use at Townhill Hospital. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of high-quality, sterile, latex-free skin closure strips suitable for dressing purposes, adhering to the detailed specifications provided.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the supply and delivery of Skin Closure Strips, specifically 6mm x 100m, in accordance with the attached specifications. The procurement includes providing the required quantity (minimum of 3 boxes of 50 strips each), ensuring compliance with quality standards, and delivering the items to Townhill Hospital within the stipulated period. The scope also involves adherence to technical and quality standards, submission of samples for evaluation, and compliance with all administrative and contractual requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Skin Closure Strips must be non-allergic and latex-free.
• Strips must have high initial adherence suitable for short-term use up to 5 days.
• Size: 6mm x 100m.
• Each unit must be packed in a sterile peel pack.
• Packaging: 10 strips per envelope, 50 envelopes per box, with a total requirement of 3 boxes of 50 envelopes each.
• Samples are required for evaluation prior to award.
• Compliance with the attached detailed specification and quality standards is mandatory.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate the capacity to supply the specified quantity and meet quality standards.
• Bidder must provide proof of compliance with technical specifications, including a declaration of conformity.
• Bidder must submit samples for evaluation as part of the selection process.
• Bidder must complete all administrative documentation, including the Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD4), Preference Points Claim Form, and other mandatory forms.
• Bidder must be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and possess a valid tax clearance certificate.
• Bidder should have the capacity to deliver within the specified timeframe and provide after-sales support if required.
