To deliver an accredited training programme focused on solar photovoltaic (PV) installation and maintenance, aligned with National Qualisations Framework (NQF) Level 2 standards. The programme aims to equip delegates with foundational theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required for the safe, compliant, and efficient deployment and upkeep of solar energy systems.
The training will be delivered over a period of three to five days at the client’s designated site in Pretoria. Sessions will run daily from 08:00 to 16:00, accommodating a maximum of fifteen delegates. The curriculum is divided into five core modules:
The successful bidder must provide a complete training delivery package that satisfies NQF Level 2 competency standards. This includes supplying all instructional materials, practical demonstration equipment, and ensuring the training environment supports hands-on exercises. The provider must adhere to relevant South African electrical and construction safety regulations. Note: NQF Level 2 refers to the South African National Qualifications Framework, where Level 2 denotes a foundational vocational qualification requiring basic applied knowledge and supervised practical skills in a specific trade.
Bidders must demonstrate proven expertise in delivering accredited solar energy training. Required competencies include subject matter expertise in photovoltaic technology, instructional capability aligned with sector education and training authority standards, and experience facilitating both theoretical instruction and practical workshops. Trainers must hold valid facilitation credentials, industry certifications in solar installation and maintenance, and the ability to assess delegate performance against defined unit standards. Upon completion, delegates will possess skills in electrical safety protocols, system design principles, physical installation techniques, commissioning procedures, and preventative maintenance routines.

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting
