Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Spine Medical Model and a Full Length Skeleton for Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital. The goal is to acquire accurate, high-quality anatomical models to support educational, teaching, and medical purposes within the hospital.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of:

• One Spine Medical Model with pelvis, femur heads, and skull base
• One Full Size Adjustable Human Skeleton

The models must meet detailed specifications such as size, material, and features outlined in the tender documents. The procurement covers the entire process from order to delivery, including compliance with technical standards and specifications.

Technical Requirements

Spine Medical Model

• 45 cm height on a base stand with neck attached
• Made of PVC coloured plastic material
• Includes pelvis, sacrum, femoral heads, vertebral column, nerves, discs, and skull
• Size: approximately 45 cm tall

Full Size Adjustable Human Skeleton

• 160 cm in height with natural bones
• Fully adjustable and capable of realistic movement angles
• Width approximately 40 cm
• Made of durable materials suitable for educational purposes

Additional requirements include compliance with relevant standards, provision of detailed brochures, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Technical expertise in manufacturing or supplying anatomical models and skeletons
• Ability to meet detailed specifications and quality standards
• Experience in supplying medical or educational models to healthcare institutions
• Capacity to provide technical documentation, brochures, and compliance certificates
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., SANAS/SABS)
