Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure staff uniforms for Ngwelezane Hospital, including various items such as jerseys, skirts, trousers, shirts, safety shoes, and other related apparel, to ensure staff are uniformly dressed according to specified standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of a range of uniform items and accessories for hospital staff, including:

• Female and male jerseys (navy, V-neck, long-sleeve)
• Skirts and trousers (navy, plain, stretch fabric, various sizes)
• White shirts and white T-shirts
• Safety shoes with steel toe caps
• Other specified uniforms and accessories as detailed in annexures

The procurement covers sizes, specifications, and quality standards as detailed in the annexure specifications, with delivery to Ngwelezane Hospital within the contractual period.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Items must conform to the detailed specifications provided in annexures, including fabric type, color, design features, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, SANS).
• Uniforms must meet specified sizes and fit standards, with samples required for evaluation.
• Safety footwear must be durable, with steel toe caps, made from leather or suitable materials, and comply with safety standards.
• All items must be new, unused, and of the latest models with all recent design improvements.
• Suppliers must provide samples upon request, and samples must be retained for inspection; failure to submit samples results in disqualification.
• Items must be packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit and comply with delivery documentation requirements.
• Suppliers must adhere to the specified delivery timelines and provide all necessary documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and compliance certificates.
• Pricing must be firm, inclusive of VAT where applicable, and valid for the stipulated period.
