Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure supply and delivery of cannula and needle IV Teflon/PTFE R/OP, ensuring the hospital's needs for these medical supplies are met efficiently and in accordance with specified standards.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of 240 units of IV cannula and needle (specifically Teflon/PTFE R/OP) to Bethesda Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The procurement covers the entire process from order placement to delivery at the specified hospital location, including compliance with technical and quality standards.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of IV cannula and needle made from Teflon/PTFE material, suitable for medical use.
• Items must conform to relevant SABS or SANS standards and be approved for medical use.
• Sizes specified include 22G and 20G needles, with flow rate of 100 pcs per box.
• Needles should be of Teflon/PTFE rod construction.
• Items must be packaged in boxes of 100 units each, with clear marking and labeling.
• Suppliers must provide proof of compliance with specifications, including certification and approval documentation.
• Delivery must be made to Bethesda Hospital, Ubombo Main Road, Ubombo, within the contract period (once-off).
