Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 300 cubic meters of G5 material to Madundube, in accordance with the specifications outlined by KwaDukuza Municipality.

Scope

• Procurement of 300m³ of G5 material.
• Delivery of the specified material to Madundube.
• Compliance with all relevant municipal and regulatory requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Provision of G5 material that meets the specified quality standards.
• Delivery to the designated location in Madundube within the stipulated timeframe.
• Sealed submission of quotes, endorsed with the correct reference number.
• Adherence to the submission deadline: 12h00 on 22 June 2026.
• Acceptance of payment methods: cash or EFT, at the Municipal Finance Directorate.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Prospective bidders must meet the following criteria:

• Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provide proof of municipal account status, such as:
• Municipal rates, electricity, and other municipal services are not in arrears, or
• Letter or certificate from landlord confirming no arrears (if tenant), or
• Letter from Ward Councillor or an affidavit confirming exemption from municipal rates and taxes.
• Be at least 51% owned by Black people if classified as an Emerging Micro Enterprise (EME).
• Undergo screening against the National Treasury’s Defaulters Database.
• Demonstrate capacity to supply and deliver the specified quantity of G5 material.
• Ensure submission of all relevant documentation and proof of claims for preference points and evaluation criteria.
