Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a reliable supplier to supply and deliver A4 white photocopy papers to Mandeni Municipality, ensuring the availability of quality photocopy paper for administrative and operational needs.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supplying 600 boxes of A4 white photocopy paper, with each box containing 5 reams.
• Delivery of the photocopy papers to the Mandeni Municipality’s designated address.
• Adherence to specified quality and packaging standards as per the tender specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Supply of A4 white photocopy paper in boxes of 5 reams each, totaling 600 boxes.
• Use of Rotatrim or equivalent quality paper.
• Compliance with the specifications outlined in the tender document.
• Provision of proof of registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Completion of all relevant MBD forms (1, 4, 8, 9).
• Submission of a valid municipal account or proof of residence and relevant lease or exemption certificates.
• Adherence to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy.
• Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, and clearly stated per unit and total amount.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Service providers must meet the following skills and qualification criteria:

• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof of registration.
• Company registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
• Provision of valid tax compliance status and company registration details.
• Completion of all relevant MBD forms (1, 4, 8, 9) fully and accurately.
• Ability to deliver the specified quantity within the stipulated timeframe.
• Demonstrated experience in supplying office consumables, particularly photocopy papers, is preferred.
• Compliance with municipal and legal documentation requirements, including proof of residence or lease agreements and adherence to procurement policies.
