Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver boiler spares to St Apollinaris Hospital, ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of hospital boilers. The procurement aims to acquire 29 units of specified boiler spare parts that meet quality standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of various boiler spares as detailed in the item list, including nozzles, thermostats, water level probes, liquid level controls, photocells, timers, contactors, and hardness solutions. The procurement is a once-off contract with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advertisement, with all items to be supplied to the specified hospital location.

Technical Requirements

• All supplied items must conform to the detailed specifications, including size, material, and approved standards (e.g., SABS approved).
• Items must meet the quality standards specified, including compliance with SABS, SANS, or CKS standards.
• The list of items includes specific quantities and detailed descriptions, such as boiler nozzles, thermostats, water level probes, photocells, timers, contactors, and chemical solutions.
• Suppliers must provide certificates of compliance where applicable.
• All prices must be inclusive of VAT (if applicable) and cover all costs associated with delivery and compliance.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

• Proven ability to supply and deliver boiler spare parts that meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Experience in supplying hospital or industrial boiler components is preferred.
• Capability to provide certificates of compliance and quality assurance documentation.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver within the specified timeframe and to the designated location.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and valid tax clearance.
• Ability to provide samples for evaluation if required and to meet the evaluation criteria, including objective submission of samples and documentation.
