• Hand Tools: Claw hammers, hacksaws, grip pliers, mallets, utility knives, cross-cut saws, and tenon saws.
• Measuring & Marking Instruments: Spirit levels, tape measures, combination squares, and meter boxes.
• Fastening & Assembly Tools: G-clamps, screwdriver sets, magnetic screwdrivers, and wood chisels.
• Accessories: Spare drill bits, bit sets, and nails.

Bidders must quote unit prices for each item and ensure delivery to the designated location within the hospital premises. The contract is a single-instance supply with no renewal options.

Technical Requirements

Bidders must meet rigorous technical and administrative criteria to be deemed responsive:

• Product Quality: All goods must be new, unused, and of the most recent models. Second-hand, refurbished, or expired products are strictly prohibited. Items must comply with relevant South African National Standards (SANS) or South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) specifications.
• Warranty: A minimum warranty of twelve months from delivery acceptance or eighteen months from shipment, whichever expires first, is mandatory.
• Delivery: Bidders must specify the delivery period. All delivery costs must be included in the quoted price.
• Compliance Documentation: Mandatory submission includes valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) verification, SARS tax clearance status, and a B-BBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit.
