Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver carpentry materials and related tools to Vryheid Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement aims to ensure the hospital has the necessary carpentry supplies and equipment to support its maintenance and operational needs.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of:

• Carpentry materials such as hinges, locks, boards, tracks, doors, handles, screws, and other related items as detailed in the specifications.
• Carpentry tools including sandpaper machines, jigsaws, heat guns, screw guns, circular saws, and associated accessories.
• Additional items like cutting lists, boards, and hardware for hospital kitchen and maintenance areas.
• Delivery of all specified items to Vryheid Hospital within the contract period, ensuring complete and correct delivery as per specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that all supplied items must conform to the attached specifications, standards, and quality criteria. This includes:

• Compliance with the detailed specifications for each item, including dimensions, quality, and brand/model where specified.
• Provision of tools and equipment that meet the technical standards outlined (e.g., voltage, power, grit size, capacity).
• Proper packing and labeling to prevent damage during transit.
