Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier capable of providing and delivering carpentry materials to Port Shepstone Hospital, ensuring quality, compliance with specifications, and timely delivery to support hospital maintenance and construction needs.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of various carpentry materials as specified in the tender documents. The materials encompass items such as locks, hinges, screws, glass, plywood, and other carpentry-related products, with quantities and specifications detailed in the tender. The contract is a once-off delivery to Port Shepstone Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, within the stipulated contract period.

Technical Requirements

• Quote on the supply and delivery of specified carpentry materials according to the detailed specifications provided.
• Provision of samples upon request within 5 days.
• Compliance with the hospital’s specifications, standards (SABS/SANS), shelf life requirements (minimum 12 months), and packaging standards.
• Submission of relevant documentation including CSD report, tax certificate, and proof of certification.
• Delivery to Port Shepstone Hospital’s Maintenance Department, with no partial deliveries accepted; complete order to be delivered in a single shipment.
• Adherence to the delivery schedule and submission of all required documents.

Skills Requirements
