Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver CDs and DVD sleeves to the General Justice Gizenga Mpanza Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The purpose is to procure quality sleeves that meet specified standards for use within the hospital's operations.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of:

• White paper CD sleeves with window and flap, dimensions 124mm x 127mm, un-gummed, pack of 100
• CD-R 700MB discs, pack of 50
• DVD-R 16x speed, 120min, 4.7GB, pack of 100

The delivery is a once-off requirement to the specified hospital address, adhering to the specifications and standards outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the items are as follows:

• CD and DVD sleeves must be white paper with a window and flap, measuring 124mm x 127mm, with a flap size of 38mm x 127mm
• Sleeves must be un-gummed and conform to SABS standards
• CD-R discs must have a white printable face for labelling, with a capacity of 700MB, in packs of 50
• DVD-R discs must be 16x speed, 120min, 4.7GB, in packs of 100
• All items must meet the detailed specifications provided in the annexed documents and comply with relevant standards (SABS, SANS, ISO)

Skills Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

• Ability to supply items that meet detailed technical specifications and quality standards
• Experience in handling and delivering sensitive electronic media supplies within specified timeframes
• Knowledge of compliance with health sector procurement policies and standards
• Capability to provide necessary documentation such as BBBEE certificates, SARS tax clearance, and CSD registration
• Proficiency in adhering to procurement processes, including submission of accurate quotations, technical specifications, and compliance documentation
