Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified and experienced service providers for the supply and delivery of cold mix asphalt to Mandeni Municipality, ensuring the provision of quality materials in accordance with specified standards.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 1000 bags of cold asphalt mix as specified in the tender document.
• Supply and delivery of the asphalt to Mandeni Municipality's designated location.
• Compliance with all relevant municipal policies and procedures during procurement and delivery.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service providers include:

• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof of registration.
• Submission of a valid company registration document with CIPC.
• Completion of all relevant MBD forms (1, 4, 8, 9).
• Adherence to the specifications for cold mix asphalt as outlined in the tender.
• Presence of a technical representative during delivery to verify and sign off on the number of bags delivered.
• Compliance with municipal and national procurement policies, including screening against the Defaulters Database.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Service providers must demonstrate:

• Experience and qualification in supplying and delivering asphalt or similar materials.
• Legal registration and compliance with municipal, provincial, and national regulations.
• Ownership or operational capacity to deliver the specified quantity within the stipulated timeframe.
• Provision of verification documents such as CIPC registration, CSD proof, ID copies of directors, and relevant certificates for ownership categories (disability, women, youth, black ownership).
• Ability to provide firm prices inclusive of VAT, valid for 30 days.
