Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier capable of providing and delivering ultra-absorbent maternity pads with Polyshield, ensuring sufficient stock (1800 packets of 12 pcs each) for Murchison Hospital. The procurement is a once-off contract, with the products required to meet detailed specifications, including packaging, expiry date, and design features, as outlined in the specifications document. The delivery must be completed within the agreed timeframe, and all products must conform to the specified standards and regulations.

Technical Requirements

• Product Description: Ultra-absorbent maternity pads with Polyshield, suitable for heavy days, designed for total confidence and protection.
• Design Features:
  • Extra length for comfort
  • Wider to prevent leakage
  • Without loops
  • Packaged in packets of 12 units, with 36 packets per pack
• Packaging: Packets of 12 pcs, packed in 36 packets per pack.
• Expiry Date: Must be at least 12 months from the date of delivery.
• Compliance: Must meet the specifications detailed in the annexed specification form and adhere to relevant standards (e.g., SANAS/SABS).
• Delivery: To be made to N2 Main Harding Road, Port Shepstone, in accordance with the specified delivery schedule.
• Documentation: All products must be accompanied by proper documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and compliance certificates.
