Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver Miranti double doors to St Apollinaris Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The project aims to replace damaged doors with standard size Miranti double doors, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with quality standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of two units of standard size Miranti double doors measuring 2030mm x 820mm x 40mm. The doors must be painted on both sides with dark green colour, with both lock sides rebated to prevent wind entry. The project includes:

• Provision of doors with specified dimensions and features
• Painting and finishing as per specifications
• Delivery to St Apollinaris Hospital
• Compliance with quality standards such as SABS/SANS/CKS

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Supply and deliver two units of Miranti double doors (size 2030mm x 820mm x 40mm)
• Doors must be rebated on both lock sides to prevent wind entry
• Doors must be painted with two coats of waterproof paint in dark green colour
• Doors should meet the quality standards specified (Miranti)
• All products must be compliant with SABS/SANS/CKS standards, with certificates of compliance submitted if required
