Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver pre-gelled self-adhesive electrodes suitable for defibrillation, cardioversion, ECG monitoring, and non-invasive pacing. The delivery is a once-off contract to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, within the stipulated contract period. Technical Requirements

• Item Description: Pre gelled self-adhesive electrodes for defibrillation
• Size: 80cm² pre pad
• Material: Hypoallergenic, acrylic-based hydrogel with a highly conductive tin foil layer
• Color and Connection: Cables are blue and white; pad is white with orange pictures; connection is grey
• Functionality: Used during cardiac emergencies for defibrillation, cardioversion, ECG monitoring, and pacing
• Packaging: Must be indicated by the supplier, ensuring protection during transit and storage
• Standards: Must conform to specified specifications and SANAS/SABS standards
• Performance: Electrodes should distribute electrical energy evenly and be suitable for medical use in critical situations
