Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 5-litre soap dishwashing liquid to Vryheid Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring the provision of quality cleaning products that meet specified standards and specifications.

Scope

Technical Requirements

• The soap dishwashing liquid must be non-volatile, non-irritating to mucus membranes and skin, biodegradable, and compliant with SABS/SANS 825 standards.
• The product must be supplied in plastic, non-refundable containers with waterproof labels indicating product details, safety data, and usage/dilution instructions.
• The product must be accompanied by a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and comply with NRCS regulations.
• The liquid should be suitable for industrial or institutional cleaning purposes, with specifications including size (5 litres), quality, and safety standards.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with technical specifications and quality standards through documentation and sample submission if required.
• Ability to deliver the specified quantity within the stipulated contract period (once-off delivery).
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as SABS/SANS 825 and NRCS regulations related to chemical products.
• Capacity to provide necessary documentation, including safety data sheets and proof of compliance.
• Experience in supplying similar cleaning products to healthcare or institutional facilities.
