Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified service providers to supply and deliver spigot socket pipes, specifically 40 units of 600mm spigot socket pipes, to Mandeni Municipality. The aim is to ensure the municipality's infrastructure needs are met efficiently and in accordance with specified standards.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 40 units of 600mm spigot socket pipes.
• Supply and delivery of the specified pipes to Mandeni Municipality Main Offices.
• Compliance with all technical and administrative requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service providers include:

• Completion of all relevant MBD forms (1, 4, 8, 9).
• Submission of a valid company registration document with CIPC.
• Adherence to the Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy.
• Provision of proof of registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Verification of tax compliance status, company registration details, banking details, and identity numbers of directors and employees in the service of the state.
• Submission of a municipal account or proof of residence, lease agreement, or exemption certificate as applicable.
• Compliance with the Municipality’s procurement and delivery standards, including timely delivery and proper documentation.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Service providers must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• Suitability and experience in supplying pipes and related infrastructure materials.
• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof of registration.
• Company registration with CIPC.
• Ability to complete and submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Compliance with municipal and national procurement policies and regulations.
• Verification of ownership and business status, including ownership within Mandeni Municipality, and ownership by persons with disabilities, women, or youth, as applicable, verified through relevant documentation.
