Technical Requirements

• Material & Construction: Footwear must be manufactured from thermoplastic material, ensuring durability, ease of cleaning, and resistance to degradation.
• Performance Features: Shoes must be non-slip, washable, and fully autoclavable at 134°C. Color options are unrestricted.
• Size Allocation: The order totals 50 pairs, distributed as follows: Size 4 (7 pairs), Size 5 (7 pairs), Size 6 (10 pairs), Size 7 (5 pairs), Size 8 (8 pairs), Size 9 (5 pairs), Size 10 (5 pairs), and Size 11 (3 pairs).
• Quality & Condition: All supplied items must be brand new, unused, and free from defects. Products must retain a minimum validity period of six months post-delivery. Second-hand or expired goods are strictly prohibited.
• Submission Documentation: Bidders must attach a clear photograph of the product with their quotation. Mandatory administrative returns include Central Suppliers Database (CSD) verification, tax clearance confirmation, BBBEE status proof, and a completed conflict-of-interest declaration.

Skills Requirements

No specialized professional or clinical skills are required, as this is a standard goods supply contract. However, bidders must demonstrate adequate logistical and operational capacity to source, package, and deliver the specified quantities within agreed timeframes. Successful execution requires familiarity with South African public procurement compliance, accurate financial quoting, and the ability to provide statutory documentation (tax clearance, CSD registration, and preference point claims) without delay.
