Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver uniforms, including various clothing items such as skirts, slacks, T-shirts, stockings, cardigans, and safety shoes, to Vryheid Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The aim is to ensure the hospital's staff are equipped with standardized, quality uniforms that meet specified standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of the specified uniform items as detailed in the item descriptions and specifications. It includes the provision of samples for evaluation, adherence to technical specifications, and timely delivery within the contract period, which is once-off. The items include navy skirts, slacks, powder blue golf T-shirts, black stockings, navy cardigans, safety shoes for women, and other specified clothing items, with sizes and quantities as detailed in the specifications.

Technical Requirements

• Conformance to detailed specifications for each item, including material composition (e.g., 100% polyester), color, size, and design features (e.g., nylon zipper, pockets).
• Items must meet quality standards and comply with relevant SANAS/SABS specifications.
• Samples of each item must be submitted by the highest scoring bidders for approval.
• Items must be delivered in packaging that prevents damage during transit and complies with specified packaging standards.
• Delivery must be made to the designated hospital address, with all required documentation, within the specified timeframe.
• Pricing must be firm and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Skills Requirements
