Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver laboratory chemicals necessary for the analysis of wastewater and water at the Mossel Bay Regional Wastewater Treatment Works. The aim is to ensure the availability of quality chemicals that are compatible with laboratory equipment, supporting accurate water quality testing and compliance with environmental standards.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of specific chemicals such as:

• HACH low range COD vials (3-150mg/L) – box of 150
• HACH high range COD vials (20-1500mg/L) – box of 150
• Nitrates TNT 835 (0.2 – 13.5mg/L) – box of 150

The chemicals must be compatible with laboratory equipment and used for wastewater and water analysis. The delivery period spans from the date of appointment until June 2026 or until the tender is awarded.

Technical Requirements

The chemicals supplied must meet the following technical specifications:

• HACH low range COD vials: 3-150mg/L, per box of 150
• HACH high range COD vials: 20-1500mg/L, per box of 150
• Nitrates TNT 835: 0.2 – 13.5mg/L, per box of 150

The successful bidder must demonstrate:
