Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver brown envelopes to Manguzi Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The procurement aims to ensure the hospital has adequate stock of specified envelopes for administrative and operational purposes.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of various types of brown envelopes, including:

• Envelopes size 353 x 250 mm, packaged in packets of 250.
• Brown B4 envelopes measuring 353 x 250 mm, packaged in boxes of 250.
• Banker shape manilla envelopes measuring 114 x 162 mm, packaged in boxes of 500.
• Additional envelope types as specified in the detailed technical specifications.

The delivery is a once-off requirement to Manguzi Hospital, with a validity period of 90 days for quotations.

Technical Requirements

The envelopes must meet the following specifications:

• Size: 353 x 250 mm (B4 size) and 114 x 162 mm (banker shape).
• Material: Manilla or equivalent suitable for official use.
• Color: Brown.
• Packaging: Packets of 250 or boxes of 250/500 as specified.
• Compliance with relevant quality standards and specifications as per the annexure and departmental requirements.
• No samples are required unless specified, and addendums to specifications are not attached.
