Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver surgical disposable gowns to Manguzi Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring the provision of sterile, water-resistant, and latex-free gowns in various sizes (medium, large, X-large). The aim is to meet the hospital's requirements for quality surgical gowns that conform to specified standards and standards such as EN 13795-1 and ISO 9001:2015.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of 750 surgical disposable gowns, covering different sizes and specifications, to Manguzi Hospital. The procurement process involves submission of quotations, adherence to technical and administrative requirements, and compliance with the specified standards and conditions outlined in the tender documents. The contract is a once-off delivery, with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advertisement.

Technical Requirements

• Gowns must be disposable, sterile, and individually wrapped.
• Materials should be non-woven, latex-free, and water-resistant with reinforcement.
• Gowns should have long sleeves (140 cm), conforming to EN 13795-1X150901:2015 standards.
• Sizes required: Medium, Large, X-Large.
• Gowns must meet the quality standards EN 13795-1 and ISO 9001:2015.
• Unit of measure: Each.
• Delivery must be completed within 21 days from the award date.

Skills Requirements

While the tender primarily focuses on supply and compliance, bidders should demonstrate:
