The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver single-patient-use nasal high-flow (NHF) interfaces designed for neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients. The product aims to provide heated and humidified high-flow oxygen therapy via nasal prongs, facilitating seamless transition from invasive ventilation, supporting post-extubation care, mild to moderate respiratory distress, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of 70 units of the specified NHF interfaces to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital. The procurement covers the entire process from quotation collection, submission, evaluation, to final delivery within the contract period, which is once-off. The product specifications, packaging, and performance requirements are detailed to ensure compliance with clinical standards and compatibility with existing ventilator systems used in PICU.
