Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier capable of providing and delivering tube nasal feeding PVC and related products to Manguzi Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring quality, compliance with specifications, and timely delivery to support patient care services.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various types of tube nasal feeding PVC, including specific sizes and specifications, to Manguzi Hospital. The procurement covers a range of related products such as uncuffed tubes, sterile and individually packed, with specified sizes and features, to meet clinical requirements. The contract is a once-off purchase with specified quantities and delivery timelines, including compliance with technical and quality standards.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of tube nasal feeding PVC with detailed specifications including size (e.g., 5FG, 25mm ID, 3.5mm ID), material (medical-grade PVC), and features (e.g., X-ray detectable, sterile, individually packed).
• Items must meet specified standards and conform to the detailed specifications provided in the annexure, including size, colour, material, and packaging.
• Items should be sterile, individually packed, and comply with quality standards as approved by the end-user.
• Delivery period specified as 21 days from award.
• All products must be valid for a minimum of six months upon delivery.
• Samples may be required for evaluation, and products must meet the specified quality and safety standards.
