Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and offloading of 50ppm diesel to GJ Crookes Hospital and various clinics within the KwaZulu-Natal province, ensuring timely delivery, proper offloading, and compliance with technical and administrative requirements.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and offloading of 50ppm diesel at GJ Crookes Hospital and multiple clinics (Dlangezwa, Philani, Dududu, Umzinto, Mgangeni, and Park Rynie Mobile Clinic).
• Delivery of a total quantity of approximately 3500 liters, distributed across specified clinics as per the bill of quantities.
• Delivery within specified timeframes, with testing and proper offloading procedures at each site.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Supply of 50ppm diesel fully inclusive of all charges, including VAT where applicable.
• Delivery in one working day per clinic, with testing of diesel before filling.
• Delivery notes signed by clinic representatives upon offloading.
• Provision of diesel in accordance with scope of work and bill of quantities.
• Proper packing and transportation to prevent damage or deterioration during transit.
• Compliance with specifications and standards outlined in the tender documents.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The tender requires bidders to demonstrate:

• Ability to deliver diesel to multiple sites within tight timeframes.
• Technical capability to test diesel quality prior to offloading.
• Experience in handling and transporting diesel safely and in compliance with relevant safety standards.
• Administrative competence to complete and submit all mandatory documentation, including disclosure certificates, tax clearance, and B-BBEE verification.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols related to fuel handling and offloading.
• Capacity to provide qualified personnel, such as technicians, for testing and offloading procedures.
