The primary objective of this tender is to secure a qualified supplier for the one-off provision of high-quality, disposable body bags specifically engineered for XXL adult corpses. The supply will directly support post-mortem handling and transport operations at the KwaDukuza Mortuary within the Ilembe District Health Office.

Scope

The scope covers the complete supply, packaging, and delivery of fifty (50) bales, with each bale containing twenty (20) XXL white body bags. The contract is a single-delivery arrangement with a ninety-day quotation validity period. The successful bidder assumes full responsibility for transporting the goods to the designated mortuary, ensuring all items meet rigorous quality, safety, and dimensional benchmarks, and adhering to provincial health department procurement regulations. The evaluation process follows four mandatory stages: administrative compliance, specification adherence, price and preference point assessment, and physical sample verification.
