Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of toner cartridges, specifically the Brother TN-3290 model, to Umphumulo Hospital. The aim is to ensure the hospital has a reliable source of high-yield toner cartridges for bulk printing needs, with an emphasis on original and quality-standard products that meet specified standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of 15 units of toner cartridges (model TN-3290) to Umphumulo Hospital, located at R74 Greytown Road Maphumulo 4470. The delivery is a once-off contract, with the products required to conform to the detailed specifications, including compliance with SABS quality standards. The delivery must be made to the hospital's designated location within the stipulated timeframe.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of original Brother TN-3290 high-yield black toner cartridges.
• Yield capacity of up to 8000 pages per cartridge.
• Products must meet SABS quality standards.
• Items must be new, unused, and of the most recent models with all recent design improvements.
• Cartridges should be compatible with specified printer models and meet the detailed specifications provided in the annexure.
• Delivery must be made in accordance with the specified conditions, including proper packing to prevent damage during transit.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with procurement policies, including B-BBEE certification and CSD registration.
• Ability to provide technical documentation and proof of product specifications, including quality standards (e.g., SABS).
• Capacity to deliver the required quantity within the specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of government procurement procedures, including submission of official forms and adherence to the evaluation criteria.
• Provision of necessary supporting documents such as CIPC certificate, BBBEE certificate, and tax compliance status.
• Ability to complete all required documentation accurately and submit within deadlines, including preference claim forms and declaration of interests.
