Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider for the supply and delivery of cleaning materials to NHLS Kimberley Laboratory, ensuring adherence to specified quality and technical standards. The goal is to support NHLS’s operational needs by providing essential cleaning supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Scope

The scope of work includes the supply and delivery of various cleaning materials as specified in the scope of works. Items include all-purpose wipes, pine gel, microfibre cloths, urinal pellets, muslin cloth, long handle brush-pans, air fresheners, buff pads, floor stripper, window cleaner, dish cloths, sanitizers, disinfectants, buckets, toilet descalers, floor cleaners, and other related cleaning products. The service provider must deliver these items to NHLS Kimberley Laboratory as per the detailed specifications and within the agreed timelines.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of specified cleaning materials in the quantities listed in the scope of works.
• Items must meet the specifications outlined in the RFQ, including quality standards and packaging requirements.
• Delivery must be made to NHLS Kimberley Laboratory at 8 Jameson Avenue, Rhodesdene, Kimberley, by the stipulated deadlines.
• Suppliers must comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to the handling and transportation of cleaning materials.
• All prices must be quoted in ZAR and include VAT where applicable.
• Suppliers must submit valid tax clearance certificates and relevant compliance documentation.
• Delivery timelines and performance standards are to be adhered to, with provisions for delays and penalties as specified in the contract conditions.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying cleaning materials to public health or similar institutions, with evidence of previous contracts and client references.
• Capability to manage logistics and timely delivery of multiple items across different categories.
• Qualified personnel with relevant expertise in supply chain management, including project management and technical assessment of product specifications.
• Ability to provide a detailed project plan outlining the methodology, resource allocation, and execution timeline for the delivery of goods.
• Knowledge of compliance with South African procurement regulations, including B-BBEE requirements and tax compliance.
• Capacity to handle administrative and contractual obligations, including documentation, reporting, and adherence to evaluation criteria.
