Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified service providers for the supply and delivery of fresh meats for a duration of one month, as detailed in the RFQ. The aim is to procure high-quality meats that meet specified standards and grades to support the operations of Ushaka Marine World.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various fresh meats including beef, mutton, lamb, and pork, with detailed specifications for each meat type, weight, size, and grade. The procurement covers a comprehensive list of meat products such as steaks, mince, offal, sausages, and other meat cuts, all to be delivered within the stipulated timeframe.

Technical Requirements

• Meats must conform to specified types, weights, sizes, and grades (e.g., AAA222, BBB333).
• Products should be individually packed, portioned, and meet quality standards such as AAA222 (A2) or BBB333 (B3).
• Meats must be fresh, clean, and suitable for human consumption.
• All products should adhere to the detailed specifications provided in the RFQ, including fat content and casing calibration where applicable.
• Delivery must be completed within the agreed timeframe, with products properly packaged and labeled.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in the supply and delivery of fresh meat products to large-scale operations or similar entities.
• Ability to meet strict quality standards and specifications outlined in the RFQ.
• Compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Efficient logistics and supply chain management skills to ensure timely delivery.
• Capability to provide necessary documentation such as tax clearance, TCC, and CSD registration.
• Understanding of procurement policies and preference point systems as per the PPPFA regulations.
