Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply plumbing materials through the supply and delivery process, ensuring timely delivery within 14 days after official order issuance. Scope

The contract covers the procurement of items such as reducers and other plumbing components, with delivery within 14 days of order confirmation.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of plumbing materials on a per-item basis or bill of quantities, conforming strictly to specifications stipulated in the tender documents.
• Inclusion of delivery charges in the pricing.
• All packaging and courier documents must be clearly marked with the RFQ number.
• Delivery to be made within 14 days after official order.
• Waste generated during delivery or construction must be properly contained and disposed of at registered landfill sites, with certificates of disposal submitted upon project completion.
• Compliance with the General Conditions of Contract and all relevant municipal waste management and environmental regulations.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with active status.
• Completion and signing of compulsory forms including Declaration of Interest (MBD 4), Preference Points Claim (MBD 6.1), and Certificate for Independent Bid Determination (MBD 9).
• Provision of proof for preference points claims, such as B-BBEE certificates or affidavits, and proof of locality (municipal account or lease agreement).
• Submission of detailed affidavits for property ownership or rental status, including ID numbers of property owners and directors where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver goods within specified timelines and compliance with technical specifications.
• Understanding of waste management and environmental compliance related to delivery and construction activities.
