Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit bids for the supply and delivery of promotional goods. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing the specified promotional items and ensuring their timely delivery, in accordance with the terms set out in the tender documentation.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of promotional goods as specified in the tender documents.
• Delivery of the goods to the designated address or location specified by the department/public entity.
• Completion of contractual obligations through signing a formal contract (DPW04.1 GS or DPW04.2 GS).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Submission of bids on official forms provided, not re-typed.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with mandatory information such as business registration, director/membership/identity numbers, tax compliance status, and banking details.
• Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 2000, the General Conditions of Contract (GCC), and any other applicable legislation or special conditions.
• Tax compliance verification through SARS e-Filers registration or submission of a printed Tax Clearance Certificate (TCS) with the bid.
• Provision of accurate pricing, including VAT, with the total bid price matching the sum in the pricing schedule.
• Completion of a questionnaire for foreign suppliers regarding residency, branch presence, and income sources in RSA.
• Adherence to all bidding procedures, including submission deadlines and proper documentation.
