Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure supply and delivery of maintenance uniforms for Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital, ensuring that the hospital's supply chain requirements for maintenance staff are met efficiently and in compliance with specified standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of maintenance uniforms to Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital (PMMH).
• Participation in a compulsory briefing session and site visit scheduled for 08/06/2026 at PMMH Nurses Home Hall.
• Collection of quotation documents from the Supply Chain Management office between 04/06/2026 and 05/06/2026.
• Submission of quotations to the designated tender box at PMMH, with strict adherence to submission guidelines.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with the attached specification document for the maintenance uniforms.
• Provision of proof of previous orders/invoices for relevant services (public sector only).
• Submission of a letter of good standing from the bank to demonstrate financial capability.
• Adherence to evaluation stages, including administrative compliance, capacity to deliver, specification compliance, and price/preference points.
• Mandatory submission of documents such as CIPC registration, B-BBEE status verification, CSD compliance, and SARS tax clearance.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from bidders include:

• Ability to demonstrate administrative compliance with mandatory documentation.
• Proven capacity to deliver goods based on previous public sector orders and financial stability.
• Technical understanding of the specifications for maintenance uniforms.
• Capability to meet the evaluation criteria, including compliance with specifications and pricing systems.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and preference point systems, especially regarding B-BBEE and ownership verification.
