Scope

Bidders must submit physical quotations using official departmental forms; electronic or faxed submissions will be automatically rejected. All quoted prices must be firm, inclusive of applicable VAT, and fully cover transportation and delivery costs to the designated hospital location. Late submissions will not be considered.

Technical Requirements

• Product Formulation: Baby powder must be hypoallergenic and completely free of parabens, phthalates, and dyes, specifically designed for gentle infant skin care.
• Packaging & Volume: Each unit must be supplied in a 400-gram bottle.
• Certification & Standards: Products must bear the SANAS logo and conform to applicable SANS/SABS specifications. Suppliers must submit a valid BBBEE certificate and a sworn affidavit confirming compliance.
• Stock Condition & Shelf Life: Only new, unused products will be accepted. All delivered items must have a minimum remaining shelf life of six months from the delivery date.
